AmigaOS 4 by Hyperion Entertainment is the PowerPC port of AmigaOS. Version 4.0 (2006) ran on AmigaOne hardware (PPC), 4.1 (2008) brought numerous improvements. AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition (2014) and Update 2 (2021) are the current versions. New features compared to OS 3.x: virtual memory management, USB stack, Petunia (68k JIT emulator), Warp3D (OpenGL subset), AmiDock, new Shell, Hollywood player integration. Runs on AmigaOne X1000, X5000, A1222, and Sam boards.
