Workbench 3.0-3.1
Workbench 3.0 (1992, with A1200/A4000) brought AGA support, Datatypes system (unified file format recognition), improved Intuition, new gadgets, PCMCIA support (A600/A1200). Workbench 3.1 (1994) was the last official Commodore version and the longest-used Amiga OS version ever. It still forms the basis for Classic Amiga setups today. OS 3.1 set the standard for Amiga compatibility.
