GCC (GNU C Compiler)
GCC was ported to the Amiga from the late 80s. The most well-known distributions were: ADE (Amiga Development Environment) with GCC 2.95, GeekGadgets, and later GCC-based cross-compilers. GCC enabled free C/C++ development and was particularly used in the open-source Amiga community. For AmigaOS 4 and MorphOS, GCC is the standard compiler.
