NTSC

NTSC (National Television System Committee) refers to the analog television standard used by Amiga computers in North America, featuring a 60Hz refresh rate and approximately 525 scan lines. Amiga systems configured for NTSC output typically displayed resolutions of 320Ɨ200 or 640Ɨ200 in non-interlaced modes, resulting in a slightly lower vertical resolution compared to PAL systems. This standard determined the timing signals generated by the custom chips and affected compatibility with monitors and televisions in the North American market.
